Grout collects nothing. No accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no identifiers. Your songs and samples stay in the app's own storage on your device, and go somewhere else only if you put them there yourself.
When you turn Ableton Link on, Grout announces itself on your local network and exchanges tempo, beat position and transport state with other Link-enabled apps and devices on that network. That is the whole of the exchange: it carries no personal information, it reaches nothing outside the local network, and it does not happen at all until you enable Link.
grout.fm is three static pages served by Cloudflare. No cookies, no analytics, no third-party scripts or fonts. Cloudflare records requests as part of serving them, under its own privacy terms.
If you write to support@grout.fm or beta@grout.fm, your address and message are kept to answer you and, for the beta, to tell you once when TestFlight opens. They are not sold, shared, or used for anything else. Ask and they're deleted.
Grout is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, of any age.
